Community Safety Officer

Are you passionate about making communities safer and tackling anti-social behaviour?

We are looking for a dedicated Community Safety Officer to join our team and help create safer, more confident communities across the Essex area. This is a hands-on role where you'll help lead on ASB investigations, gather evidence and take enforcement action where required. You'll also engage with residents and community groups and support funding bids to deliver community safety objectives.

Essential Criteria:

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
• Valid UK Driving Licence (be confident driving and be able to travel between different sites or locations when required) or have use of public transport.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well motivated and conscientious.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure or when dealing with challenging or confrontational situations.
• Good observational and problem-solving skills.
• Professional appearance and conduct.
• Fully literate and able to read and understand written information, including policies, procedures, instructions, incident reports and risk assessments.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Flexible approach to working hours, shift patterns and operational requirements.

Hours & shift pattern:

8 Hour shifts available.
