Security Officer

Stambridge Group is a rapidly expanding organisation delivering specialist security, stewarding and event services across the UK. We are currently recruiting for Security Officers to join our team at Olympia London.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at one of the UK's leading exhibition and event venues, supporting a diverse range of exhibitions, trade shows, events and conferences throughout the year. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for visitors, exhibitors, contractors and staff. This position focuses on security, customer service, access control, incident support and ensuring the smooth operation of events across the venue.

Essential requirements:

• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence.
• Professional appearance with a high standard of personal presentation and hygiene.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours and shifts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and committed to delivering excellent customer service.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Preferred requirements:

• Previous experience working in security, events, exhibitions, hospitality or customer-facing roles.
• Ability to travel reliably to and from Olympia London or local to the surrounding area.
• Experience working at large scale events or managing high footfall environments.
• Confidence when engaging with members of the public and providing information.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a visible and professional security presence throughout the venue.
• Conduct access control duties for visitors, exhibitors, contractors and staff.
• Monitor designated areas and report any concerns, incidents or hazards to supervisors.
• Assist with crowd management and the safe movement of guests throughout the venue.
• Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies in line with event procedures.
• Maintain high standards of customer service at all times.
• Support event operations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors.

Successful applicants will be expected to work across a variety of exhibitions, trade shows, events and conferences held at Olympia London. While work may not be required every day, flexibility is essential. We are looking for reliable team members who can commit to regular work and contribute to maintaining a safe, secure and professional environment for all visitors, exhibitors and staff.
