Dual Role - Night Security Fire Watch Officer / Cleaner

We are seeking a dedicated individual to fulfil a Dual role as a Night Security Fire Watch Officer / Cleaner within our organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Security duties include regular patrols, liaising with store security for individual businesses / stores, access control, reporting any health and safety risks / maintenance issues to facilities management, general customer service, reporting / dealing with ASB where necessary. This role also involves keyholding duties as you will be required to unlock / lock up the centre, you will also be the point of contact between the centre and emergency services where required.
• Responding, dealing with and logging any alarm activations.
• Make sure all Fire Safety protocols are being upheld and identifying, reporting and dealing with any potential risks.
• Cleaning duties include general cleaning / housekeeping duties, basic cleaning of public and communal areas.

Skills & Experience:

• Have an SIA Badge- Essential
• Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices.

Reporting Structure:

Reports to the Operations Manager.

Full training for the specific site will be given.

Hours & shift pattern 4 on 4 off 1900-0700.
