Dual Role- Security / Cleaner

We are seeking a dedicated individual to fulfil a dual role as Security Officer and Cleaner within our organisation. This is a dual‑function role that combines security duties with general cleaning responsibilities to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

• Security duties include regular patrols, liaising with store security for individual businesses / stores, access control, reporting any health and safety risks / maintenance issues to facilities management, general customer service, reporting / dealing with ASB where necessary. This role also involves keyholding duties as you will be required to unlock / lock up the centre, you will also be the point of contact between the centre and emergency services where required.
• Cleaning duties include general cleaning / housekeeping duties, basic cleaning of public and communal areas.

Skills & Experience:

• Have an SIA Badge- Essential
• Previous experience in cleaning, facilities, or a similar role is highly desirable.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices.

Reporting Structure:

Reports to the Operations Manager.

Full training for the specific site will be given.

Hours & shift pattern rolling 4 on 4 off 0700-1900.
