Our company has been recognised for it's drive towards holding the highest standards with the accreditations listed below:
SIA Approved Contractor
The Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS), which is managed by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) has the goal of raising the standard of security and assisting with the development of making new opportunities available within the private security industry. The systems of inspection, along with certification bodies, like the SSAIB, undertake inspections for the SIA, ensuring organisations that have achieved the standards required are able to register as approved contractors. Our company has been recognised as an Approved Contractor for operations in the following areas of work:
- Door Supervisors (In-house and contractors)
- Security Guarding
ISO 9001 specifies guidelines that are required for a quality management system. It is the international standard in showing that a company is able to provide services and products consistently in order to meet customers' needs, as well as all regulatory requirements. Stambridge Group has met these standards and will continue to build on our achievements for reaching our goals regarding quality and customer satisfaction.
The ISO 14001 accreditation requires a company to meet international standards for implementing environmental management systems. The EMS framework set out allows our organisation to be recognised as following and integrating management systems standards to help us in achieving our goals and continuously improve the way we manage environmental aspects, meet obligations of compliance, address opportunities, and also, identify any risks in our business operations.
Meeting the international standards of occupational health and safety has seen us be awarded the ISO 45001 accreditation. With an aim of improving the health and safety of personnel and a focus on preventing injury, as well as reduction of ill-health, Stambridge Group has a firm commitment to continue to protect our staff, the public, and any other people that are in our areas of work.
Community Safe Scheme Accredited
we have been included in the Community Safe Scheme for meeting the requirements of community safety patrols and public reassurance. This award is for the work we do in preventing anti-social behaviour, crime, and also, disorder in general.
Disability Confident Committed
Our recruitment policies, and also the way we develop and retain people with disabilities, has seen us expand our workforce and reputation within different communities. We are an inclusive company, proud to be recognised as Disability Confident Committed.
We have been awarded the Safe Contractor accreditation, which is a government-run scheme for ensuring Health & Safety standards are met. It is particularly for companies that work within the public and private sectors, developed and managed by Government Health and Safety and procurement professionals. This shows that our work is assessed and that we have been proven to be competent and capable of working to acceptable standards regarding health and safety protocols.
Highfields Approved Training Centre
Our training centre has been approved to deliver qualifications by Highfield, one of the world’s leading awarding organisations for regulated, international, endorsed and work-based learning qualifications. The awarding organisation, which is regulated by Ofqual, Qualifications Wales, SQA Accreditation and the Security Industry Authority (SIA), provide qualifications that are written by leading experts, meeting the highest standards expected by regulators. We deliver a host of qualifications, from level 1 to level 5, covering a range of subject areas, many of which can be used as part of apprenticeship programmes in line with the latest apprenticeship standards.
Part of the government's counter terrorism measures, The National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO) provide support to a network of counter terrorism security advisors (CTSAs) working for local police forces. They provide guidance on counter terrorism protective security to specified industry sectors.
We are accredited to protect from terrorist threats under the scheme for instances such as:
- Crowded places throughout the UK.
- Hazardous sites and dangerous substances.
- Personal security.
- The critical national infrastructure (working with the Centre for Protection of National Infrastructure (CPNI).
